System Administrator 3Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope PolygraphLocation: Fort George G Meade, MarylandSchedule: Full-time | On-site Job Description:Our client is seeking a System Administrator 3 to manage mission-critical IT infrastructure supporting Department of Defense operations. This role requires hands-on management of Linux and Windows systems, virtual environments, and security compliance measures, ensuring high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Administer Linux and Windows-based systems
• Support patching, configuration, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and resolve user issues
• Maintain virtual environments and backup solutions
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIG standards and security protocols

 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5–10+ years of systems administration experience

 Skills & Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM
• Scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and network protocols
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $180,000 – $200,000 per year.
