We are seeking a Senior Network Architect to provide strategic technical leadership for secure network infrastructure. In this role, you will act as a primary subject matter expert for architectural design, integrating complex multi-technology products across regional and enterprise-wide environments. You will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure program objectives are met through rigorous project management, technical innovation, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) security standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Define strategic requirements for network designs, providing technical input on products, services, and enterprise-wide integration
Utilize long-range planning and technical research to recommend advanced technological applications
Act as a senior authority for program requirements, coordinating the activities of technical teams to achieve execution excellence
Manage scope, resource allocation, and project prioritization across multiple concurrent activities
Oversee the full network lifecycle, including design, procurement, configuration, installation, cable/wire infrastructure, break-fix support, and decommissioning
Integrate security plans into network design, ensuring strict adherence to United States (U.S.) Government Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Manage System Security Plans (SSPs), device sanitization, and contamination cleanup
Provide hardware and software support for Secure Network and Secure Voice systems
Act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical challenges, utilizing critical thinking to triage and resolve issues
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and internal stakeholders
Champion Boeing’s Seek, Speak, and Listen behaviors to foster a collaborative environment
Develop project plans, implement policies, and manage capital/expense planning to ensure mission success
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
5+ years of experience with designing and implementing large scale network architectures, including complex routing and switching configurations
5+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
5+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
5+ years of experience in infrastructure systems in LAN and WAN environments
5+ years of experience with Communications Security (COMSEC) encryption devices
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Top Secret Clearance
Current CCNA or other Cisco Certification
Current DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) compliance (Security+ preferred) Certification
Experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) systems
Experience in technical team leadership or project management of complex infrastructure deployments

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 4: $119,850 – $162,150
Summary pay range for Level 5: $148,750 – $201,250
Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
