How will you make an impact:
Join our supply chain organization as Director of Demand Planning, where you'll facilitate critical planning processes that ensure consistent delivery of effective solutions to our customers worldwide. This strategic leadership role manages global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, connecting customer demand with our operational capabilities across multiple sites. You'll guide teams that provide enhanced service offerings including demand planning, inventory optimization, and specialized study support services. Working closely with clients, commercial teams, and site operations, you'll analyze complex data to optimize resource allocation, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure exceptional service delivery. How will you get here:
Education
• Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in supply chain management and planning
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
• 7+ years leadership experience managing remote teams
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles with 5+ years of direct client engagement
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end clinical trial supply chain operations
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning software
• Expertise in developing and implementing S&OP processes
• Strong project management and process improvement skills
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams in a matrix environment
• Excellence in relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in English required; additional languages beneficial
• Ability to travel 10-25% including international travel
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Sound decision-making skills in dynamic situations
• Ability to implement organizational change and adapt to evolving business environments
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $144,100.00–$216,100.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
