Truck Driver (MC, A - Double) PM shift
Job Purpose
We are currently seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver (A-Double) to join our Landside Logistics team, based at our Yennora, NSW site. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight across metropolitan and regional routes, ensuring customer service standards and delivery schedules are consistently achieved. You will work closely with the operations team to support efficient transport activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
This is a permanent FULL - TIME position working Monday to Friday, AFTERNOON shift, with overtime.
Key Accountabilities
- Safely operate MC, A-Double vehicles in accordance with road transport legislation and company procedures.
- Complete allocated deliveries and collections efficiently while meeting customer timeframes.
- Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Accurately complete transport documentation and electronic records.
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Current MC (Multi Combination) Licence with demonstrated A-Double driving experience.
- Current MSIC Card.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or container cartage operations.
- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Heavy Vehicle National Law requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage delivery schedules.
