About the job you’re considering
Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Support Consultant to join our Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting a highly secure and business-critical SAP environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work across end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes, helping to ensure the smooth planning, movement, and availability of materials that support critical operational activities.
As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you'll join a team dedicated to delivering application stability, service excellence, and continuous improvement across complex SAP landscapes. Working closely with business users and technical teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining efficient supply chain operations while supporting the evolution of SAP services in a secure environment.
Your Role
- Providing functional support for SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
- Managing MRP runs, planning exceptions, and supply chain planning activities to ensure material availability
- Supporting order fulfilment processes, including deliveries, shipping, and logistics execution
- Monitoring inventory levels, stock movements, and planning accuracy across the supply chain
- Investigating and resolving logistics and fulfilment issues to minimise operational disruption
- Handling incidents, service requests, and system enhancements within agreed service levels
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support integrated business processes across SAP
- Identifying opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, logistics performance, and operational efficiency
Your skills and experience
- Strong experience with SAP LE and MRP processes
- Good understanding of inventory management, logistics execution, and supply chain planning
- Knowledge of integration points with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM)
- Experience supporting complex SAP environments within an Application Management Services (AMS) or support function
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- A proactive approach to service improvement and operational excellence
