This role will work closely with our divisional accounting groups and corporate departments and directly report to the Director of Corporate Accounting. This role is responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.Key Responsibilities Monthly and Quarterly Close ProceduresPrepare and review accurate financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries related to consolidations, accruals, revenue recognition and lease accounting, foreign currency translation, and royalty activityPerform account reconciliations and roll-forwards to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataAnalyze financial results and provide variance explanation to leadershipCalculate, reconcile, and process inter-company and third-party royalty invoicing in accordance with contractual agreementsAssist with preparation and analysis of projections and budgets on monthly and quarterly basis.Various government report requirementsSEC ReportingCollaborate with members of the Corporate Finance team in preparation footnotes and disclosures for the Company’s Form 10-Q and 10-K requirements, including certain financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures Prepare tie-out packages for disclosuresComplianceCollaborate with external auditors throughout their review/audit procedures of SEC disclosuresMaintain SOX documentation for monthly and quarterly close procedures QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance minimum.Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
