Job ID: LP_00015500-1690Job DescriptionServe as a member of the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics interdisciplinary team while conducting comprehensive developmental and neuropsychological assessments as well as customized therapeutic treatment plans. Patients include infants through middle-school aged children presenting with a range of developmental concerns.  The predominant patient population includes children born prematurely, children with complex medical histories, genetic conditions, or chronic illnesses, and children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning differences, developmental delays/intellectual disabilities, and anxiety/mood disorders.JOB SUMMARYThis paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job.Provides psychological diagnosis and psychotherapeutic interventions and treatments, and consults in the field of clinical/rehabilitation psychology and/or neuropsychology in a hospital inpatient/outpatient setting with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams and other medical specialties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe essential functions listed are typical examples of work performed by positions in this job classification. Consult with colleagues and/or Risk Management as necessary for unusual or emergency cases. * Conducts psychological assessments. * Develops individualized treatment plans for each patient assessed. * Consults with patients outside mental health providers. * Provide appropriate referrals to outside mental health services as indicated or requested. * Evaluates client response to treatment, modifies treatment strategies and includes the client as part of the decision-making process. * Generates reports of diagnostic and psychological findings and/or treatment recommendations. * Intervenes with clients to enhance their ability to fully participate in treatment, including defining treatment goals and designing intervention strategies that support recovery and resiliency. * Maintains detailed medical records for every contact...
