They foster positive relationships with partners inside and outside the organization and deliver measurable outcomes through careful implementation. This leader works closely with Category, Product, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Seller Experience, and other cross-functional groups to drive seller growth, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve valuable business results.

This role is located in Austin, TX, USA or Salt Lake City, UT, USA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers responsible for US Parts & Accessories sellers, including goal-setting, prioritization, performance management, and ongoing capability building.

  • Define and drive portfolio strategy for top-tier Parts & Accessories sellers, finding opportunities to accelerate GMV, revenue, inventory growth, conversion, and seller health.

  • Own the segment operating cadence, including business reviews, portfolio reviews, action planning, initiative tracking, and executive-ready updates.

  • Translate seller, category, and funnel performance data into clear recommendations, account plans, and measurable actions that improve business outcomes.

  • Prioritize resources and seller focus across the portfolio, identifying key risks, growth opportunities, blocking issue needs, and intervention plans.

  • Engage directly with priority sellers through business reviews, site visits, industry events, and executive-level meetings to deepen relationships and support growth.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Category, Product, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Seller Experience, Customer Support, and business unit leaders to solve seller challenges, lead pivotal initiatives, and spread key takeaways throughout the business.

  • Build compelling, data-backed narratives for internal and external collaborators while staying closely connected to the competitive landscape, market trends, seller needs, and off-eBay channel dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring, developing, and managing performance for account management, business development, or seller-facing teams.

  • Track record of strategic leadership, structured thinking, strong business judgment, and prioritization across multiple initiatives.

  • Ability to balance long-term critical thinking with day-to-day operating rigor and execution.

  • Strong analytical approach with the ability to inspect seller and business performance, identify root causes, and turn insights into clear actions.

  • Executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present a compelling story supported by data.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams, levels, and collaborators.

  • High degree of ownership, accountability, seller empathy, and willingness to become an expert in the Motors Parts & Accessories industry.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of people management experience required; 5+ years preferred.

  • Experience leading teams responsible for strategic customer, seller, partner, or account relationships.

  • Experience working with strategic or enterprise-level customers, sellers, or partners strongly preferred.

  • Experience in ecommerce, retail, marketplace, consumer technology, automotive, or a similar sector is preferred.
