Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Administrator
The Opportunity
At GCI Solutions, we are committed to maintaining, renewing and improving the performance of water and wastewater assets across the Gold Coast through the Asset Lifecycle Delivery Service program. As our Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting communications and community engagement activities that connect our projects with customers, stakeholders and the broader community.
Based in Bundall, this role will provide administrative and engagement support across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed and community relationships are maintained throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the delivery of project related community engagement activities
• Assisting with stakeholder enquiries, complaints and community communications
• Coordinating the printing and distribution of project notifications and communication materials
• Maintaining stakeholder databases and registers
• Providing administrative support for website updates, social media content and reporting activities
• Assisting with internal communications including newsletters, posters, event invitations and other collateral
• Attending customer and community engagement meetings and supporting stakeholder negotiations where required
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong communication and organisational skills together with a customer focused approach and a passion for stakeholder engagement.
You will demonstrate:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong administration and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and excellent time management capability
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Flexibility and adaptability when working across multiple stakeholders and projects
• Experience supporting communications, stakeholder engagement or community relations activities will be highly regarded
• A current C Class Driver Licence
• A willingness to complete an International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate
