Job Title: Senior Manager - Finance Business Partner (Purplle Retail Stores)About the Role: We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Business Finance Partner to join our high-performing Finance team. In this critical role, you will be the dedicated finance lead for the rapidly expanding Purplle Retail Stores business unit. You will drive financial planning, provide commercial insights, and ensure optimal resource allocation to maximize store profitability and growth. This is a hands-on role requiring a strategic mindset and excellent partnership skills.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and rollingforecast processes for the entire retail store network, ensuring alignment withstrategic business goals and market realities.2. Management Reporting (MIS): Prepare and deliver comprehensiveManagement Information System (MIS) reports, providing the Retailleadership team with timely and actionable insights on store performance,category profitability, and regional trends.3. Performance Tracking & Analysis: Establish and rigorously track keybusiness and financial KPIs (e.g., Sales Per Square Foot, Gross MarginReturn on Investment (GMROI), store EBITDA, conversion rates, ROCE, etc).Conduct variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) and providecommentary on deviations.4. Cost Management & Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities tooptimize operating costs across retail operations, including rent, utilities,staffing, and supply chain, working closely with operations teams toimplement savings initiatives.5. Capital Expenditure (Capex) Evaluation: Own the end-to-end process forevaluating and recommending Capex proposals for new store launches,renovations, and technology upgrades. This includes financial modelling,payback period analysis, IRR, and NPV calculations.6. Business Partnering: Act as the primary financial contact for the RetailOperations and Leadership teams, translating operational drivers into financialoutcomes and supporting commercial decisions with robust data.7. Controls and Process Improvement: Ensure proper stores level controlsare maintained for cash and inventory. Drive efficiency in financial processesand reporting by leveraging technology and automation tools.Requirements:CA with 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Finance,FP&A, or Commercial Finance, with a mandatory experience in Retail /QSR / Store division of a company.Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (forecasting models,pivot tables, lookups) and experience with financial reporting systems (e.g.,SAP).Soft Skills: Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills. Must be comfortable challenging the status quo andinfluencing cross functional stakeholders.
