What you’ll do:
\- Responsible to execute complete Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing in Electrical/ Residential applications. \- Independently design Hardware for Residential/Commercial Products. \- Awareness of Wiring devices Technology product portfolio. \- Design of 8/16/32 bit microcontroller based solutions. \- Responsible for Hardware design, Functional testing, Qualification Testing. \- Verify design using simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Model Sim, etc. \- Apply analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues. \- Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances – UL /IEC / RoHS / REACH etc. \- Hardware design knowledge for various Communication protocols like USB, SPI, I2C, wireless etc. \- Collaborate with local / global suppliers for prototype developments, external labs for testing etc \- Knowledge on Project Management wrt Project planning, Risk Identification, Cross functional Team interaction e.g. Marketing, Manufacturing etc. \- Technically lead and execute projects with risk identification and proposal for metigation. \- Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design & EMI/EMC. \- Added advantage if having explosure working with Manufacturing plant, establish plant process, Testing, yield analysis etc. \- Strong knowledge of NPI development processes, DFSS/ DFX artifacts and ProLaunch process. \- Follow change management process and release into ENOVIA PLM system. \- Collaborate with marketing, CoEs, mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully validate the designs up to and including certification. \- Continuous improvement and AI automation experience to automate processes for productivity improvement.
Qualifications:
Education level required : B.E. (10+6 Years) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering Years and area of experience required: 6-9 Years of experience in Electronics Design and Development
Technical knowledge:
- Experience in Hardware Design – Power Supply, Analog Design and Digital Design. GFCI, AFCI, Sensor, Timer etc. products knowledge will be beneficial.
- Expertise in CAD tools and Simulations tools necessary for Electronics Design
- Hands-on Experience of implementing various MCU based designs with verification and validation testing etc.
- Soft skills : Communicates technical concepts and information to internal staff/peers and stakeholders; strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Analytical and Problem solving skills, Working in ambiguity, process improvement.
