Summary:
As an Operations Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the ongoing operations and managing the delivery of production systems and services. This role requires close attention to operational requirements and adherence to service agreements to ensure smooth and efficient system performance. The position demands proactive monitoring, timely issue resolution, and coordination with various teams to maintain service reliability and meet organizational objectives. The role also includes overseeing system health, managing escalations, and facilitating continuous improvements to operational processes, contributing to the overall stability and effectiveness of production environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Monitor system performance and promptly address any operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Document operational procedures and maintain knowledge bases to support team efficiency.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Charles River Order & Execution Management OEMS Trading.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Charles River Portfolio Management & Risk Analytics, Charles River Middle Office, Charles River Data and Position Management.
- Strong understanding of order management workflows and execution processes within trading environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to production systems and service delivery.
- Familiarity with operational monitoring tools and incident management practices.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and mitigate risks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Charles River Order & Execution Management OEMS Trading.
- This position is based at our M2B - STPI office.
