Job Title: Senior Capital Markets Consultant – Business Analyst & Project Manager

About the Job you are considering:

As a Senior Consultant in the Post Trade Consulting team, you will have responsibility for delivering high-quality client projects within Capital Markets. You will be providing consulting, business analysis, and project management services to clients, supported by early-career analysts and leveraging the knowledge and expertise of our experienced industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Extensive experience in project management, delivering complex business and regulatory change initiatives from inception through implementation.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process mapping, and solution design.
  • Proven consulting experience, providing strategic advice and delivering transformation programs across financial services organizations.
  • Deep expertise in trade and transaction reporting across global regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, ASIC, and MAS, including the latest reporting rewrites, refits, and regulatory enhancements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of post-trade processing, with a focus on operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience supporting CSDR regulatory initiatives and accelerated settlement programs to meet evolving market infrastructure requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and implementing regulatory change programs across front-to-back business functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial market infrastructure, including trading, clearing, settlement, and reporting ecosystems.
  • Expertise in data and analytics, leveraging data-driven insights to improve decision-making, governance, and operational performance.
  • Experience designing and enhancing controls frameworks to strengthen operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead process reengineering initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated resilience under pressure, ability to deal with ambiguity and adaptability to change
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative, whilst maintaining openness to direction
  • Desire for continuous learning and growth mindset
  • Highly competent with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Able to pass on knowledge and provide oversight and support to less experienced colleagues.
