China Securities Company - Head of Operations

Job responsibilities: 

• End-to-end securities operation oversight, spanning data management, account management, client onboarding, trade lifecycle as well as client services 
• Work closely with business and cross-functions, i.e. Technology, Legal, Compliance and Risk etc., to advance pre-trade and post-trade business priorities
• To deliver excellent client services by managing client ask efficiently and effectively, leveraging market insight to address requests, enhance service delivery
• Stay abreast of regulation change and adapt quickly to evolving market conditions, contributing to NBI, CTB,RTB activities as well as transformation initiatives and reshaping operating models, p&p and workflows
• To build and cultivate partnership with securities senior management, business and external counterparties, regulatory bodies, vendors and market peers, actively engaging securities industry initiatives.
• As Ops rep to participate and contribute to various control forums and committee meetings, aligning internal stakeholders with key market change and operational updates
• Adhere to financial regulations and internal risk and control framework, mitigate operational risks, and manage audit processes
• Regularly identifying opportunities to achieve operational excellence

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Securities Operations, covering Settlement, Clearing, Trade lifecycle, and Client Services.
• Solid and sound knowledge gained from Securities brokerage and Prop Trading businesses 
• Have a thorough understanding of China Securities regulations and have maintained a close tie with securities regulatory bodies, i.e. CSRC, Stock Exchange, SAC and Clearing House etc.
• Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing teams through ongoing guidance and feedback
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage effectively with internal and external parties at all levels
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial and resourceful with good project lead / project management skills
• Good presentation and language skills in English and Mandarin
• SAC license is required
