Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations, Digital Product Management
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will serve as a strategic partner to the VP Digital Product Management and senior leaders, translating Digital Product Management strategy into measurable priorities, operating plans, and outcomes. You will facilitate strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, technology and AI-enabled initiatives, business operations, and executive communications across the AI & Data organization.
This role combines strategic thinking, operational leadership, and organizational influence to accelerate delivery of transformative technology across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Deliver strategic and operational support to the VP and senior leadership team, ensuring the effective execution of business strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures that drive departmental success.
- Translate strategic priorities into measurable goals, action plans, milestones, KPIs, and accountability frameworks that improve decision-making and execution across the function.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner on portfolio, organizational, capability, and investment decisions.
- Shape and run annual operating rhythms (LT offsites, staff meetings, and readouts).
Chief of Staff
- Manage day-to-day execution of departmental strategy, supporting cross-functional priorities, key decisions, and follow-through.
- Own agenda planning, coordination, and facilitation for leadership meetings and offsites.
- Serve as the connective tissue across AI&D leaders, tracking key initiatives and ensuring alignment.
Enhancing organizational effectiveness and culture
• Drive leadership team effectiveness, operating cadence, and cross-functional alignment across the Digital Product Management organization.
• Lead high-priority special projects involving organizational design, talent strategy, capability building, change management, and operational improvement.
• Contribute to a strong culture by supporting offsites, seminar series, training, staff profiles, mentoring connections, and other engagement mechanisms.
• Establish practical processes, tools, and ways of working that improve transparency, accountability, learning, and execution.
Lead business operations and executive communications
• Coordinate budgeting, resource planning, headcount management, and scenario analyses in partnership with Finance, HR, Research Operations, and TA leadership.
• Coordinate talent management processes, including hiring, promotions, workforce planning, and related personnel actions.
• Develop executive-level presentations, business reviews, strategic communications, governance materials, portfolio reviews, and leadership updates.
• Lead departmental communications strategy and content calendar, including newsletters, events, and executive updates.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 2+ years of strategic planning, business operations, or consulting experience
OR - Master’s degree and 4+ years of the same experience
OR - Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in strategy, management, or related field
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, or AI/data-driven organizations
- Exceptional executive presence, judgment, and communication skills
- Proven track record leading strategic initiatives and operating with agility
- Expertise with executive-level presentation, change management, and cross-functional planning
- High EQ and comfort navigating ambiguity with diplomacy and influence
