The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products has Secondary Engineering team for Gas Insulated Switchgear to produce Local Control Cubicles. The work involves mainly creating electrical circuit diagrams and supporting documents. CAE tool named E3 is used for generating the schematics. It would involve interaction with other departments like Primary, Project Management, and Production
How you’ll make an impact:
Leading Secondary Engineering Projects
Handover from Sales, Clarification of Specification
Full Project Management Scope (Time, Cost, Scope Planning) for Sec Engineering Projects (LCC)
Coordination with Commercial Project Manager (Time, Scope, Cost)
Leading Engineering Activities with Extended Workbench (Base Design and Detail Design)
Detection of Deviations and Claims
Customer Clarification and Customer Meetings
Achievement of Design Freeze and Customer Approval
Creation of Production Documents with Extended Workbench
Support of Production in FFBG / CHPU
Final Acceptance Tests with Customer
Support of Site Installation and Commissioning
Creation of As-Built documents and Close-out of Project
Active Participation in Project Reporting structure (Digital Project Board et al)
Responsible for the technical and standard-compliant technical project handling and for the management or compliance with the project goals (dates, costs, material goals)
Responsible for scheduling and technical coordination of activities in connection with upstream and downstream positions
Responsible for compliance with the applicable standards and regulations, in particular the ISO 9001 (QMS), 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Safety) standards
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
Bachelor's in electrical & Electronics Engineering with overall experience of 12-14 years
Very Good knowledge of CAE tools (Nice to have experience in e3, not mandatory)
Very Good knowledge of Protection & Control Systems for T & D / Gen
Familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc...
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism
Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
