As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems while providing customers with professional recommendations and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs accurately and efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot residential and light commercial plumbing systems.

  • Inspect plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality, and code compliance.

  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drain, and sewer systems.

  • Repair or replace water lines, drain lines, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and water heaters.

  • Perform leak detection and plumbing system troubleshooting.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics when needed.

  • Provide customers with repair options and explain recommendations clearly.

  • Prepare estimates and present solutions to customers.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle.

  • Complete service documentation accurately and on time.

  • Respond to dispatches promptly while delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and local plumbing codes.

Qualifications

  • Current Journeyman Plumbing License (if required by state).

  • Minimum of 3 years of plumbing service experience preferred.

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems.

  • Multifamily plumbing experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of water distribution, drainage, and venting systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues independently.

  • Must provide your own basic hand tools.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and other physically demanding environments.

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
