Quality Control Manager ABL Collateral

You’ll build deep expertise in reviewing complex credit facilities and the supporting documentation that underpins them. You’ll partner closely with operations, credit, and control partners while developing a strong reputation for sound judgment and objective decision-making. This role offers meaningful visibility through exception and control reporting and opportunities to expand your scope as the business evolves.

 

As a Quality Control Manager in ABL Collateral, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting an evolving landscape of new operational controls and product complexities. Wholesale Lending Services’ goal is to provide best in class products and services to our clients that are of the highest level of quality.  To meet these standards, as the QC Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of quality reviews on the system of record for new or existing credit facilities.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, identify, and report any inconsistences between the supporting documentation relative to the borrowing base certificate entered in accordance with internal process and procedures.

  • Ensure exception reporting is reviewed and actioned timely 

  • Ensure control reporting is reviewed and actioned timely 

  • Adhere to policies, procedures, processes, and Key Performance Indicators
  • Collaborate with Operations, Credit, and Controls in resolving items and preparing weekly ad hoc reports when requested

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation, client financial documentation, and borrowing base certificates.

  • Experience in reading general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable and inventory 

  • Understanding of the Asset Based Lending product 

  • Ability to identify client ineligibles and calculate ineligibles based on rules outlined in the credit agreement. 

  • Demonstrate decision-making skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to probe sensitive issues while maintaining the highest level of integrity and objectivity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and pivot in response to new developments

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access

  • Experience with loan accounting systems, such as LoanIQ, Dealworks, Aurora, ACE/collateral systems
