The Sales assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by department personnel as needed. Additionally, will greet and provide customer service to visitors, answers and routes telephone calls, takes messages, accepts packages.Performs all clerical functions for the Sales DepartmentMaintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices and proceduresEnters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders and other resourcesCorresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problemsPrepares forms and reportsMonitors inventoryMaintains files and other business recordsPerforms other duties as assignedGreets and provides customer service to visitorsAnswers and routes telephone callsTakes phone messages for other personnelAccepts packages from couriers and prepares packages for shipmentPerforms clerical functions as neededPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills: High School diplomaFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenMinimum one year’s experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fieldsProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipmentSCAM ALERT: Please be aware candidates may be at risk of being targeted by scammers seeking personal data or money.
