Compensation Analyst

This role will be based in our office in San Francisco, CA.
What you’ll do
- Support complex global compensation cycles (compensation and promotion review), annual base salary increase / bonus award programs, and benchmarking.
- Build and maintain scalable models to analyze compensation metrics, forecast program spend, and guide global executive decision-making under tight timelines.
- Guide compensation business partners and the broader People team on our core compensation processes, reward philosophy, and new program designs.
- Participate in the research for and ongoing development of compensation programs / vehicles that match Uber’s needs
- Champion continuous system and process enhancements to increase the accuracy, velocity, and overall effectiveness of compensation programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in compensation, finance, or a related analytical field supporting People organizations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced modeling and spreadsheet proficiency utilizing Google Sheets to solve unstructured data problems.
- Proven experience managing lifecycle projects from inception to completion, including coordinating multiple stakeholders and meeting strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data or technical processes effectively to non-compensation partners.
- Experience with Oracle People System, Marketpay, Radford, Pave, or Compa.
- Strong systems thinking mindset with a track record of thriving within fast-paced, working environments without a strict playbook
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $106,000 per year - USD $118,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
