The Role
As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting AstraZeneca products within your assigned territory, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and delivering against ambitious sales objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to execute territory plans, identify growth opportunities, and enhance AstraZeneca's reputation within the healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales objectives within your designated territory for assigned products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, healthcare institutions, and local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Deliver high-quality product information and key promotional messages using approved marketing materials and resources.
- Execute territory action plans and manage territory budgets effectively in collaboration with Line Managers and Product Managers.
- Maximise territory coverage and ensure regular engagement with target customers.
- Organise and support local educational meetings, workshops, product presentations, and symposia to increase product awareness and strengthen AstraZeneca's brand presence.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of regional and national scientific events as required.
Performance Expectations
- Analyse market trends, sales performance, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential risks within the territory.
- Provide accurate and timely activity reporting in line with AstraZeneca's sales force effectiveness requirements and KPI objectives.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, and Medical teams to ensure effective information sharing and consistent customer engagement.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance in all business activities.
- Demonstrate AstraZeneca's Values in daily interactions and ensure adherence to policies relating to patient safety, product quality, and company standards.
- Remain up to date with product knowledge, industry developments, and therapeutic area expertise through continuous learning and professional development.
About You

Essential Requirements
- University degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline preferred).
- Sales experience within pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and build credibility.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good level of English.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with digital tools.
- Valid driving licence.
