As a Commercial Production Partner, you will serve as a trusted credit and production advisor within the Commercial Banking Center, helping drive sound credit decisions, portfolio quality, and exceptional client experiences. In this highly collaborative role, you'll partner closely with Relationship Managers and leadership to structure complex commercial transactions, identify opportunities for growth, and proactively manage risk across a diverse commercial portfolio.   As a Commercial Production Partner, you will serve as a trusted credit and production advisor within the Commercial Banking Center, helping drive sound credit decisions, portfolio quality, and exceptional client experiences. In this highly collaborative role, you'll partner closely with Relationship Managers and leadership to structure complex commercial transactions, identify opportunities for growth, and proactively manage risk across a diverse commercial portfolio.  

In this role you'll

  • Partner with Relationship Managers and clients during calling activities to evaluate deal readiness, credit considerations, and transaction structure while developing clear recommendations.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow information, and industry trends for prospective and existing commercial clients.
  • Prepare and review credit analyses, risk assessments, loan modifications, renewals, and extensions for commercial lending opportunities.
  • Advise Relationship Managers on deal structuring, credit positioning, and risk mitigation strategies before submission for credit approval.
  • Ensure credit packages and documentation meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and bank policy expectations.
  • Maintain, organize, and update loan documentation and credit files to support accurate underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including covenant compliance, loan maturities, delinquencies, and risk ratings.
  • Identify emerging borrower and portfolio risks and recommend appropriate actions to leadership and Relationship Managers.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on commercial lending, credit administration, loan structure, and risk management practices.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking Center leadership to support portfolio priorities, execution efficiency, client retention, and growth objectives.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, Relationship Manager effectiveness, and overall client outcomes.
  • Support compliance with bank policies, security requirements, regulatory standards, and credit risk management protocol

What we're looking for

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • You have 6 or more years of relevant experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, financial analysis, or financial risk management (Required).

  • You bring advanced financial analysis skills and can confidently assess financial statements, cash flow performance, and tax returns for businesses and individuals with complex financial structures.
  • You have a strong understanding of commercial lending, credit underwriting, and risk assessment principles.
  • Understand business entity structures and can identify appropriate borrowing and guarantor relationships.
  • You are skilled at monitoring portfolio health, including covenant compliance, risk ratings, concentrations, maturities, and loan performance.
  • You communicate effectively with clients, business partners, and leadership through clear verbal and written communication.
  • Build trusted relationships and can support client needs independently when necessary.
  • You recognize opportunities to deepen client relationships through collaboration, retention efforts, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and other business software tools.
  • You maintain a strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations governing commercial lending activities.

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $101,956 - $137,940
