Position Summary
Responsible for business target planning and strategic expansion of the company’s clinical diagnostics product portfolio in the Chinese market, with a focus on clinical flow cytometry applications and emerging growth areas such as CDC-related businesses. In alignment with Beckman Coulter China’s strategic objectives, drive sustainable business growth and strengthen industry influence through market strategy development, strategic project management, key account management, commercialization of new segments, and channel/partner ecosystem development.
Core Purpose of the Role
Maintain and grow reagent business with existing Key Accounts (KAs), while acquiring new key accounts and identifying new business opportunities to ensure continuous revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
1. Market Strategy & Business Growth
◦ Execute business development initiatives in the clinical flow cytometry segment.
◦ Identify and prioritize high-potential business opportunities; define and implement strategies for new growth vectors.
◦ Optimize business models and market access strategies to enhance commercial conversion efficiency.
2. Key Account Management & Business Expansion
◦ Establish and deepen partnerships with national-level academic leaders and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in IVD and hematology.
◦ Build and maintain an expert database covering top-tier hospitals and KA clients; foster long-term relationships through technological innovation, multi-center studies, and clinical translation initiatives.
3. Strategic Project & Pipeline Management
◦ Lead strategic projects and drive collaboration with national hospitals and leading experts on company products in connection with National Natural Science Foundation grants and key government projects.
◦ Explore and develop new business opportunities, particularly within the CDC disease prevention and control system.
4. Market Opportunity Identification & Share Expansion
◦ Expand market share within the assigned region by accurately mapping competitor coverage and leveraging technical support and channel development.
◦ Monitor domestic flow cytometry offerings and provide insights to support product localization strategies.
5. Channel & Ecosystem Development
◦ Enhance channel coverage and optimize partnership models.
◦ Build a clinical academic and user ecosystem, including KOL networks, demonstration centers, and regional benchmarking projects.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
◦ Partner closely with headquarters and local teams across Marketing, Sales, Applications, Service, Supply Chain, and Compliance to align product positioning, market access, and regional execution.
◦ Support sales teams with market strategies, account management, and solution design to elevate overall capabilities.
◦ Contribute to business reviews and market intelligence reports to inform strategic decision-making.

• External: End customers, distributors, government affairs stakeholders.
• Internal: Beckman Coulter Life Sciences China Commercial Leadership Team and cross-functional teams; Clinical Flow Cytometry Business Management Team and relevant colleagues.
Basic Qualifications
• Strong execution skills with keen attention to detail and strategic big-picture thinking.
• Strategic mindset with national-level management experience and ability to evaluate business from senior leadership perspective.
• Highly customer-centric with proven experience managing national-level experts and large accounts.
• Fast learner with ability to adapt quickly to Danaher Business System (DBS) culture and earn organizational trust.
• High energy level with capability to manage conflict and navigate challenges effectively.
• Self-driven with ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle complex situations.
Education & Skills
• Master’s degree or above in Life Sciences or related field preferred.
• Proficient English skills (minimum: strong reading and writing ability).
Experience Requirements
• Minimum 12 years of sales or business development experience.
• Preferred: 2–5 years of experience in business development or key account management.
• Proven track record in life sciences and IVD (in-vitro diagnostics) industries.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support to national-level experts in flow cytometry; solid understanding of CDC operations and flow cytometry business workflows; familiarity with national-level project execution.
Professional Competencies
• Experience with reagent product usage or sales preferred.
• Deep knowledge of hospital and clinical channels with established network.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within China.
