About this opportunity:

We are looking for an Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in Communication Services, specifically 5G and IMS. In this delivery-focused role, you will be responsible for deployment, configuration, end-to-end integration and verification of Core Network and Cloud IMS solutions, to meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document integration, configuration and verification activities for 5G Core and Cloud IMS solutions in customer projects
• Perform end-to-end system integration across multiple network nodes and interfaces, ensuring interoperability and performance
• Analyze and resolve integration, configuration and performance issues, working closely with design, support and customer teams
• Contribute to deployment and migration plans, rollout strategies and cutover activities for new solutions and upgrades
• Implement and maintain automation scripts, tools and procedures to improve integration efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects and customer technical teams, providing technical input and status updates
• Ensure solutions are integrated in line with product documentation, roadmaps, security and compliance guidelines
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (integration guides, configuration baselines, test reports)
• Share knowledge, best practices and lessons learned within the team and wider organization

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer science
• CS Core, UDM and IMS Portfolio Knowledge
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms, including OpenStack and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience in integration, verification and troubleshooting of telecom network solutions, ideally in 4G/5G Core and IMS domains
• Strong understanding of telecom signaling protocols and interfaces relevant to Core and IMS (such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP/2, MAP)
• Understanding of LDAP directory services and databases
• Understanding of IP networking and protocols (routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)
• Strong hands-on experience integrating IMS and 5G Core nodes (CSCF, MTAS, SBC/BGF, MRF, AFG, NELS, etc.) in operator environments.
• In-depth understanding of VoLTE/VoNR, IMS call flows, 4G–5G interworking, and related protocols (SIP, Diameter, HTTP/2, MAP etc.).
• Ability to design and execute complex integration test campaigns and assess impacts on customer networks and services.
• Proven capability to work in customer projects (Network Build, Integration & Optimization) with cost/time accountability, in multi-vendor environments
• Additional programming skills are an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
