Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support a welcoming, secure environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
- Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
