What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a key resource and subject matter expert within your area of expertise, potentially leading and training lower-level team members.
- Manage personal time and professional development, taking accountability for results, prioritizing workflow, and possibly leading and allocating work to others.
- Contribute to project and departmental tasks, providing direction and training to team members, and may be designated as a lead worker.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems, considering wider implications beyond immediate issues.
- Complete assignments independently, selecting appropriate methods, and ensuring team assignments are completed.
- Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for technical soundness and may review the work of others.
- Adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, influencing teams, and providing input on departmental standards and guidelines.
- Be responsible for the assembly, packaging, and finishing of goods, operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment, and maintaining process flow according to GMP and Quality Standards.
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency, completing batch records and associated documentation.
- Train others, maintain accurate records, and perform setup, cleaning, and operation of complex equipment, ensuring adherence to GMP-related procedures and operational standards.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ years of experience is essential.
- Certification in the relevant area, if applicable, is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to perform basic to medium arithmetic reasoning and calculations
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Packaging Equipment
- Experience in In-process documentation
- Strong understanding of GMP and Quality Standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain packaging equipment
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with computerized drug weighing programs
- Experience in meticulously following detailed instructions
- Solid understanding of chemistry, the metric system, scales, and the filtration process
- Experience in training and mentoring other team members
- Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity
