Your Role:
The Junior Accountant must have the ability to support the various activities carried out across the three companies: Turner, HBO, and Discovery. This is aligned with the objectives established by the organization. The Junior Accountant should possess a general understanding of all processes performed within the accounting area.Your Role Accountabilities:
Corporate Reconciliations: Using the Cadency system for Legacy Warner and BlackLine for Legacy Discovery.
Local Reconciliations: Monthly reconciliations for Legacy Warner.
Corporate and Local Close: Compliance with local IFRS standards, month-end closing, and corporate reporting under US GAAP from the 15th to the 20th of each month, as applicable for Legacy Warner. Month-end close for Legacy Discovery.
Audit and Internal Control Activities: Providing information to PwC auditors, supporting compliance and SOX requirements, assisting the tax department, and reviewing adherence to accounting procedures within the P2P, payroll, billing, and collections areas.
Report Preparation: DANE reports and other specific analyses as required.
Accounting Processes: Reclassifications, adjustments, accruals, and general accounting entries.
Qualifications and Experience:
Intermediate English proficiency.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
