Who we're looking for
Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across our analytics teams. The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights.

This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with an expectation to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Pricing and Originations Analytics
Pricing and Originations Analytics purpose is to deliver data-driven insights that help inform pricing strategy, business performance, and decision-making across the organization.
The team is responsible for leading the development and delivery of analyses and reports for monthly Pricing Committee meetings, leveraging the origination cash flow model to conduct pricing and profitability assessments, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify trends, address key business questions, and drive improved outcomes.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical thinking, financial acumen, and financial modeling skills, along with exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively. The role also requires advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau, as well as working knowledge of SQL or python.
Sales Compliance & Analytics
The Sales & Compliance Analytics team supports Sales Operations Compliance, Enterprise Compliance, and Field Sales with reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision support.
Using SQL and Python, this role handles ad hoc data requests, performs root cause analyses, and supports compliance issue tracking and remediation.
In addition to the general requirements listed below in the What You Bring section, this role is best suited for someone who can proactively manage multiple issue investigations and ad hoc requests while maintaining a strong data quality and controls mindset.
What you'll be doing
Uncover business needs to properly frame your analysis.
Efficiently leverage coding skills to acquire and organize data.
Discover insights through data exploration, quantitative analysis, and creative problem solving.
Develop solutions to address the opportunities uncovered within your analysis.
Influence decision making through effective verbal presentation, written communication, and intuitive data visualizations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to help implement, monitor, and measure recommended actions.
Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Commercial Lending, etc.
Continuously improve your advanced analytical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles.
Become a subject matter expert within your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic).
Professional experience coding in SQL (certain Analytics teams also use Python). Coding testing will be conducted in the interview process.
Professional experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Professional experience with Data Acquisition, Data Manipulation, and Data Cleaning
Professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Professional experience with statistics and predictive modelling techniques.
Experience with presentation skills, including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating effectively with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment.
Added bonus if you have
MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions.
Advanced statistics knowledge.
