KBR is seeking a highly motivated Plasma Processing Specialist.  Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain plasma systems including Chemical Vapor Deposition and dry etch modules.
• Understand system limitations, work with researchers to select the best materials, and establish optimized test set-ups to improve overall results maintain, modify, and repair equipment used for the development of semiconductor materials/devices and integrated circuits.
• Assist in maintaining reverse osmosis/deionized water system.
• Install and maintain compressed gas lines in cleanroom through operation/maintenance of orbital tube welder in support of mission requirements. 
• Design, fabricate, maintain, and modify specialized fixtures for semiconductor fabrication equipment and electronic component integration.
• Use profilometry and optical measurements to keep processes with specification.
• Assemble, maintain, repair, and calibrate test set ups prior to testing. 
• Maintain, modify, and repair equipment used for the development of semiconductor materials/devices and integrated circuits.
• Support operation and maintenance of cleanroom facility.
• Serve as the Alternate Initial Accumulation Point (IAP) manager.
• Assist in operation of metals deposition systems to serve as alternate operator.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-Site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science, Engineering discipline, or related fields with 0-2 years experience.
  • Security: Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication
