Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Security, Governance & Policy to lead team, the team responsible for building and maintaining the security, governance, and compliance foundation of our enterprise AI platform. This role is critical to ensuring that AI agents, enterprise data, and platform services operate securely, comply with organizational and regulatory requirements, and adhere to enterprise security standards.
As the Technical Lead, you will define and own the platform's security architecture, including identity and access management, authentication and authorization, secrets management, policy enforcement, audit logging, and data governance. You will work closely with engineering teams, enterprise architects, the CISO organization, risk and compliance teams, and business stakeholders to build a secure, scalable, and trusted AI platform.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of the platform's end-to-end security framework, ensuring enterprise-grade security across AI agents, services, and infrastructure.
- Design and own the enterprise identity and access management model, including authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and least-privilege access principles.
- Develop secure mechanisms for secrets management, encryption, key management, certificate lifecycle management, and secure credential handling.
- Define and implement secure network architectures, including network segmentation, isolation, zero-trust principles, and secure communication between platform components.
- Design and own the platform's centralized audit logging infrastructure to provide comprehensive traceability, monitoring, compliance reporting, and forensic capabilities.
- Build and maintain a scalable Policy-as-Code framework to automate governance, security controls, compliance validation, and policy enforcement across the platform.
- Define and implement enterprise data classification, data protection, and information governance models to ensure sensitive data is handled appropriately.
- Conduct architecture and security reviews for Tool Registry integrations and other platform services to identify and mitigate security risks before deployment.
- Collaborate closely with the CISO organization, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, and Enterprise Security teams to ensure adherence to corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor Platform Security Engineers, Governance Engineers, and Compliance Engineers while promoting security best practices across engineering teams.
- Drive threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, security testing, incident response planning, and continuous security improvements across the platform.
- Establish security governance processes, technical standards, and operational procedures that support scalable and secure enterprise AI adoption.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 12–15 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or cybersecurity, with extensive experience designing secure enterprise platforms or infrastructure products.
- Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Hands-on experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, RBAC, and ABAC.
- Deep understanding of secrets management, encryption technologies, key management systems (KMS), certificate management, and secure credential lifecycle management.
- Experience building enterprise audit logging, monitoring, governance, compliance, and policy enforcement frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Policy-as-Code technologies such as Open Policy Agent (OPA), HashiCorp Sentinel, or similar governance frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with CISO organizations, security architects, internal audit, compliance, privacy, and risk management teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, or similar compliance requirements.
- Experience securing cloud-native platforms and distributed systems across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, infrastructure security, container security, Kubernetes security, vulnerability management, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving security initiatives across multiple engineering organizations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance security, usability, and business objectives.

- Experience with AI platforms, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI governance, or secure AI platform development will be an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) are preferred.
- Candidates with experience building enterprise security platforms, governance frameworks, or large-scale cloud-native security architectures will be highly preferred.
