About the Role
We're a Y Combinator–backed Series A marketplace startup modernizing the way America's most essential specialized vehicles and equipment — including fire apparatus, ambulances, and heavy-duty fleet assets — are bought and sold. Our platform automates the entire transaction lifecycle: payments, freight, paperwork, warranty, and financing, compressing what used to take months into minutes.
As an Account Executive, you'll be on the front lines of our growth, generating and closing new business while working alongside a tight-knit, fast-moving sales team. There is significant opportunity for internal mobility as the company scales. If you move fast, take ownership, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to every deal, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Generate and close new customer logos across fleet operators, government entities, fire departments, and EMS providers
Engage prospects and customers through phone, email, and other outreach channels to understand their challenges and identify solutions
Collaborate with the business development team to advance and close pipeline opportunities
Partner with the sales leader to drive operational efficiencies within the sales process
Travel 1–2 days per week and attend occasional trade shows (including some weekends) to build relationships and source deals
What We're Looking For
3–15 years of experience in a fast-paced, closing-focused sales role
Demonstrated track record of working quickly and iteratively to hit and exceed quota
Strong ownership mentality — you treat your book of business like your own
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment
Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person settings
Background in government/public sector sales, fleet, automotive, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses is a plus
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually (plus commission/variable comp)
Early-stage equity opportunity
Opportunity to grow into leadership as the company scales
Location
This role is remote-optional, with a preference for candidates based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or New York City, NY. Regular travel (1–2 days/week) and occasional trade show attendance are expected.
