Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our Information Governance team as a Matter Mobility Reviewer.
This role plays an important part in ensuring the secure and compliant transfer of client information during outgoing matter transfers. Working closely with the Information Governance team and other key stakeholders, you will review physical and electronic records, apply established governance standards, and help protect the integrity of the firm’s information throughout the matter mobility process.

What You’ll Do
Review physical and electronic client records for outgoing matter transfers in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of client file transfers.
Coordinate with the Information Governance team to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Identify and escalate issues requiring review by Professional Standards.
Track assignments through completion while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Support continuous compliance with the firm’s information governance and client confidentiality standards.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent professional experience.
Experience reviewing documents, records, or client files, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Knowledge of client file management, legal terminology, and information governance principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
Paralegal certificate or related certification preferred.

This position may be filled in the following locations. The listed compensation range reflects the typical pay for this role, though it is rare for new hires to receive an offer at the top of the range. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
Colorado compensation range: $62,710 to $91,770 annually
Illinois compensation range: $66,180 to $96,850 annually
Washington state compensation range: $66,150 to $96,800 annually
Washington, D.C. compensation range: $71,440 to $104,540 annually
