Business Function

Responsibilities:

- Assist with Financial reports:- Provide current/YTD GFM performance as against budget and forecast

- Provide feedback on monthly GFM performance, which cover both Income and Expenses

- Monitor monthly expense accrual and allocated expenses

- Closely monitor the process of any unusual transactions from the daily and monthly P&L, especially on the expenses side

- Assist GFM business growth by providing support on new products and initiatives:- Familiar with products

- Familiar with relevant regulation

- Familiar with system

- Assist GFM business with new product development; e.g: NPA requirements

- BU/SU relationship:- Ensure efficient inter department communication

- Efficient NPA process

- Compliancy:- Provide support to Ops. Risk Unit to ensure all front office documentation (e.g: RCSA/Risk and Control Self Assessment) are completed and reviewed

- Ensure responsible parties take corrective actions to close gaps in RCSA properly

- Assist to create productive working environment between Business/Support Units

- Familiar with internal and external regulatory requirements

- Assist with monitoring Gaps and Control:- Risk controls and awareness in GFM respective areas

- Review and enforce enhancement in GFM process

- Ensure agreed action plans to implement corrective actions are followed up promptly

- Abide by the procedures in doing all activities to support the department in achieving good audit rating

- Engage audit/relevant party in situations where there are constraints in meeting due dates

- Report and follow up risk event accordingly

- To be AML champion for the team

- SOP/SLA:- Regular review and update to GFM SOP/SLA

- Continue to enhance process


Requirements:

- Education- Knowledge in Finance and Accounting especially on Treasury related products

- Core Competencies- Basic Finance/Accounting

- Writing and communication skills

- Willing to learn about Finance and Treasury product and regulation

- Friendly, open minded

- Technical Competencies- Knowledgeable in FX market and Treasury products.

- Good accounting and finance knowledge,

- Awareness of the market conditions and updated with market regulations

- Good communication skill
