You will work 7:00PM to 7:00AM on the B12 shift. This posting is for the Fairport Graphics plant and is subject to shift alignment. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply, with those currently in the Fairport Editor department receiving first consideration.Activities and duties may vary depending upon site specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:Meets production schedules and programs production sequences for optimal productivity.Operate Roll Editor machineOperate Side loader / Fork-lift / Antler truck as requiredLoad and unload materials from the machines as required.Make all necessary inventory transactions as required.Perform all other functions necessary to ensure maximum productivity; i.e., packaging, rewinding.Perform tests and checks product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices. Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.Maintains production records and logs of equipment and product performance.Adjusts set up and process operations accordingly.Practice all health and safety procedures, policies and practices.Attend all required safety training.Understands and implements the appropriate quality standard procedures that relate to the role and responsibilities of a Roll Editor Operator.Consistently works in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.Performs general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required.Continuously reviews current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process.Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals.Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility.Contribute and participate in team decision making.Provide support in project work and other special requests.Perform all other functions as necessary to ensure maximum productivity.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experienceMust be able to follow written and oral instruction.Must regard safety as a core value; must serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.Must have strong service and quality focus; address issues effectively when problems arise and...
