You will oversee the setup and execution of all banquet events, ensuring guests have a seamless and memorable experience from start to finish. As a Banquet Coordinator, you’re not just creating unforgettable experiences – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

The Banquet Coordinator supports the planning and execution of banquet and event operations by coordinating event details, preparing banquet documentation, and ensuring effective communication between departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate banquet and event requirements based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Prepare and distribute BEOs, daily function sheets, and event schedules.
  • Communicate event details and updates to Operations, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Assist with event setup, execution, and post-event follow-up as required.
  • Maintain accurate banquet records and administrative documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and health and safety procedures.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years' experience in banquet operations, catering, or event coordination.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; hotel catering systems experience is an advantage.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
