As an Operations Intern, you will bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds to enable the movement of people and things. This role is built for those who thrive in intense, high-stakes environments where the answers aren't always clear and decisions must be made quickly and with care.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Solve key strategic problems through analytical frameworks and insights to advise the team on critical business decisions.
  • Navigate the messiness of real-world operations by experimenting with new products and efficiencies across pricing, demand building, and segmentation.
  • Collaborate across diverse functions including finance, policy, and legal to move projects forward and unblock complex operational hurdles.
  • Own impactful projects from start to finish, managing the pressure of real-time results while maintaining a high bar for accuracy.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and imperfect information as you help shape the marketplace for riders, drivers, and merchants.
  • Identify patterns in data to improve the way we support our community at scale.

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program for the full duration of the internship.
  • Expected graduation date July or December 2027 (Only). Applications with other graduation dates will not be considered. 
  • Proficiency in English with the ability to present ideas in a comprehensive and succinct manner.
  • Ability to work 30 hours a week for 6 to 12 months in a hybrid capacity (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office).
  • Current work authorization without the need for visa sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Skills: Knowledge of data analytics, SQL and experience with statistical packages or basic programming skills is highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to build meaningful relationships and earn trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking and logic to resolve complex issues involving people and processes.
  • Resilience and a "go-get-it" attitude when faced with ambiguous problems or tough objections.
