Job Description:
As an Accountant, you'll utilize knowledge of GAAP to perform financial accounting activities, research and analyze financial data, and communicate with Finance Leaders. This role also prepares documentation and analytics to validate and support internal and external financial reporting.
There are two opportunities available supporting either the Fixed Asset Team or the Revenue Team.

Responsibilities
Perform month end close tasks that may include posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and managing asset creation and retirement processes on a monthly and quarterly basis
Prepare and present financial information to different audiences, including finance leaders, business partners, and auditors
Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between planned and actual financial performance
Analyzes financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and prepare forecasts to support financial planning
Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant financial information.
Support the annual audit process, including ensuring financial transactions are substantiated with proper documentation for auditing purposes
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with GAAP and Company policy
Identify opportunities for process improvements and transformation that will provide value within the organization
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Skilled in the use of all Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint presentations, and trainable on company-specific systems
Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, information and ideas using all forms of communication, learning to adjust tone, style, and content to meet the audience’s needs
Ability to develop relationships and build trust with Team Members and Customers
Ability to articulate how research and analysis were performed in preparing analytics in support of financial reporting
Ability to create financial spreadsheets, charts, and reports that contain relevant accounting and financial performance data with some supervision and guidance
Skilled in identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop solutions
Ability to establish personal best practices to manage responsibilities
Skilled in asking insightful questions and listening to understand all perspectives with a solid understanding of Business impacts
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
Accounting principles and practices
Financial statements and reports
Preferred: Experience with SAP, Workiva Wdesk, and Blackline
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
Must have flexibility to work extended hours during the week and weekend, including Company holidays, during quarterly close or special projects
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $85,300.00 per year to $94,800.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
