You will be part of an highly-experienced engineering team developing high-performance packet and security service processing capabilities on new compute platforms.  You will be part of and work closely with a team of.  The candidate must have experience with developing software for industry leading multi-core architecture systems, network and security interfaces, and be able to develop best practices and guidelines for such applications. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study and have 5-10 years of hands-on experience.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop software for real-time network applications on a multi-core architecture.Design, Develop and maintain the NextGen Packet Forwarding and security features for SDWAN/SASE/SSE platforms.Work across Development, System Test, PLM and TAC teamsWork on challenging problems and bring in new ideas for platform optimization.QualificationsDeep understanding of TCP/IP and advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.Expertise with general routing/switching, routing protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF), branch and DataCenter ArchitecturesHands-on experience with packet processing pipelines.Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL is a plus.Experience of working with Ethernet/QAT/LTE/Wifi/SRIOV/virtio/vmxnet3/OVS interfaces is a plusPreferable to have prior experience working with DPDK and multicore systems.Thorough understanding of performance benchmarks and ability to analyze the same.Strong Linux Kernel development experience will be plus.Prior experience having built a scalable and high-performance system is a plus.Troubleshooting critical customer issues on a timely manner.Exhibit strong skills in C/C++.Location: Santa Clara, CA*Applicants must be authorized to work in the USThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $200,000 to $310,000.
