Product Management, Manager – Customer Solutions & Innovation

Overview

This is a customer-focused role at the intersection of data, innovation, and customer value, focused on helping Mastercard identify, validate, and accelerate high-potential use cases while helping customers unlock value from Emerging Data Signals’ products.

As Manager, Customer Solutions & Innovation, you will work directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges, test new ideas, and demonstrate measurable outcomes. By combining Mastercard data assets, Open Finance capabilities, and other data sources, you will help transform customer needs into validated solutions that inform product strategy and future commercial opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, leading experimentation, and turning market feedback into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Lead customer discovery activities to identify high-value business problems and emerging opportunities across strategic accounts
- Design and execute pilots, proof-of-concepts, and test-and-learn programs that validate customer value and market demand
- Combine Mastercard data assets, Open Finance data, and external data sources to develop innovative customer solutions and insights
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and regional teams to translate pilot findings into actionable product feedback and enhancement opportunities
- Measure and communicate customer outcomes, including ROI, adoption metrics, operational improvements, and business impact
- Build business cases, proof points, case studies, and customer success stories that support future commercialization efforts
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic customers, acting as a trusted partner throughout pilot and validation activities
- Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, and best practices that improve the efficiency and consistency of solution validation efforts

All About You
- Experience in product management, product development, solutions consulting, innovation, data products, customer success, or customer-facing technology roles
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers to understand business challenges and deliver technology-enabled solutions
- Strong understanding of APIs, data products, Open Banking/Open Finance, analytics, AI, or related technology domains
- Ability to analyze customer problems, structure hypotheses, and translate findings into practical recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across product, engineering, and commercial teams
- Strong execution skills and a track record of managing complex initiatives from concept through validation
