The Opportunity

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineering Director, you will lead the charge in developing innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will leverage your technical skills and creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions while overseeing multiple projects and maintaining executive-level client relations. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences
- Managing client engagements and fostering relationships to maximize satisfaction and business growth
- Mentoring and guiding teams in software engineering practices, promoting creativity and problem-solving
- Utilizing technical proficiency in API management, application development, and software design to deliver high-impact solutions
- Driving thought leadership by developing new ideas, solutions, and structures within the software engineering domain
- Promoting technological advances and creating environments where people and technology thrive together
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
- Confirming adherence to professional and technical standards, including the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
