To assist and support the Head of Legal/Legal Manager, to facilitate the development of a solid, professional legal function in Manulife (Vietnam) Limited within the Legal & Compliance Department.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer complaint in relation to Legal duties

  • Handle litigation jobs

  • Provide legal advices and solutions to the business

  • Contracts/agreements and internal policies/regulations draft and review

  • Draft and review policy wording for insurance products, whilst keeping with all relevant legislative developments and legal requirements

  • Training on legal topics

  • Communicate and get advice/instruction from regulators (verbal & writing) for the legal matters of the Company

  • Identifying and mitigation of legal risks in the business and operation of the Company

  • Report and presentation preparation

  • Others as requested by the Head of Legal/Legal Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law, having lawyer practice certificate is an advantage

  • Minimum >8 years work experience, life Insurance and litigation experiences are preferred

  • Professional insurance or financial qualifications

  • Good analytical, resourceful and fast learner

  • Independent and has the ability to work under pressure

  • Have good research, communication and drafting, problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in English

  • Team work spirit
