As an Acceleration Center - Assurance Private - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue reports that reflect your findings.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will also address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

Responsibilities

- Leading audit engagements and managing client relationships to deliver quality financial statement audits
- Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
- Analyzing financial statements to identify material misstatements and issuing auditor's reports
- Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Utilizing auditing methodologies and financial reporting standards to conduct thorough audits
- Collaborating with team leadership to maintain quality and meet project timelines
- Implementing data analysis and visualization techniques to improve audit processes
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with clients and stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct
- Encouraging innovation and embracing technology to enhance audit delivery and client service

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Contador Publico Certificado (CPC)
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: US Licensed CPA or Public Accountant
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
