Temporary Operations Associate (6 Month Assignment Duration)

Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview:
The Temporary Operations Associate works within our Clinical Operations team. This role focused on back office administrative support of medical teams. This role functions collaboratively with our clinical and non-clinical staff.
Schedule: Full time position, day shift hours. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Thursday & 8am to 3pm on Fridays.
Location: This remote role MUST be located within one of our current markets - Minnesota, Wisconsin or Florida
Salary: $18 - $20 per hour. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operates office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers to communicate and update electronic medical records and other databases as appropriate.
- Document Management
- Sort fax inboxes to attach inbound documents to appropriate patients and assigning to appropriate provider
- Adhere to document sorting guidelines and control for duplicate requests
- Monitor incoming Provider to Provider documents, and route accordingly
- Patient scheduling for various Provider team
- Functioning both independently and collaboratively with Providers, Field Leadership, Clinical Assistants, and other Operations Associates to ensure daily team needs are being met
- Performs accurate data entry of patient health care information
- Uploads, enters, and assigns patient certifications and re-certifications
- Clinical Supplies Support: Reviews, packs & ships clinical supply orders to CAs and Providers, Responsible for restocking and ordering of the clinical supplies, respond to the clinical supplies emailed requests
- Printing and Mailing Support: Prints and mails multiple types of letters, sympathy cards, and Care Plans. Review returned mail
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Experience
- Previous administrative experience required.
- Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of patient care notes.
- Ability to assist providers and facilitate an efficient, organized administration flow.
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Collaborates effectively within team settings with clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable navigating electronic medical record systems and working with patient care notes.
- Computer proficient, 55+ WPM typing.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
