GDIT/ARMA-Global is currently pursuing a qualified candidate to serve as a Systems Administrator Senior supporting the sustainment of critical technologies for our customers.

Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator Senior, you will support customer mission objectives by administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting client systems in support of real‑time operational requirements. You will collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver resilient and secure system sustainment services that enhance enterprise operations.
You'll be critical to executing solutions in support of customer outcomes. Specifically, you'll be:
Staying current on new technology platforms, software, tools, and capabilities that improve efficiency and reduce cost while supporting service expansion and customer mission needs
Supporting project milestones and providing hands‑on technical development, integration, implementation, and sustainment of mobile device services
Supporting the execution of approved technology strategies and fostering productive partnerships that deliver resilient, highly available mobile management solutions
Role-Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience supporting or administering TAK systems, including TAK Server and TAK clients (ATAK, WinTAK, WebTAK)
Ability to install, configure, update, and maintain TAK Server components, plugins, data services, and federated connections
Experience troubleshooting TAK connectivity, network replication, data feeds, plugin behavior, and certificate‑based authentication issues
Knowledge of TAK user management, group structures, role‑based access, data‑sharing configuration, and mission package deployment
Ability to support TAK integration with external systems, services, or data sources (e.g., mapping sources, location feeds, mission data inputs)
Ability to diagnose TAK client performance issues and provide Tier‑2 support to users operating TAK in mission‑focused environments
Familiarity with operational workflows where TAK is used for situational awareness, collaboration, and mission execution
Experience creating, maintaining, or updating TAK configuration documentation, SOPs, checklists, or mission‑support artifacts
Linux administration experience including navigating the command line, installing packages, managing services, handling permissions, performing log analysis, and troubleshooting Linux client systems
Understanding of Windows workstation administration including profiles, policies, and application support
Experience supporting system and application issues across distributed operational environments and remote users
Understanding of IT fundamentals including networking basics, authentication, hardware peripherals, virtualization, and storage concepts
Experience with Active Directory for user and device management
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast‑paced operational settings
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to users with varying technical backgrounds
Patience, professionalism, and a customer‑service mindset when engaging with users
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of responding quickly to operational requirements including on‑call support
Security Requirements
Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI (TS/SCI)

Work is primarily performed in an administrative office environment
Education, Certification and Experience Requirements
BS in a related technical discipline or equivalent related experience plus required experience
3+ years of combined DoW and/or Commercial industry IT service experience
2+ years of Linux systems administration experience
2+ years using and supporting Windows operating systems
Experience supporting client systems in enterprise or mission‑focused environments
Certifications;
Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent) Required
Linux+ Desired
Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) Desired
