Your role and responsibilities
As a Package Consultant: SAP HANA FIN CO, you will implement and configure SAP HANA FIN CO solutions for clients, serving as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and trusted business advice. You will utilize your deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system to analyze business requirements, design and configure solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Implement SAP HANA FIN CO Solutions: Design, configure, and implement SAP HANA FIN CO solutions that meet client needs, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.
• Deliver Comprehensive Solutions: Develop and implement solutions, leveraging knowledge of the area and working with the latest technologies to achieve client expectations.
• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Embody IBM core values while delivering project goals, building trust with clients and team members through knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation.
• Analyze Business Requirements: Understand and analyze business requirements to design and configure effective solutions that meet client needs.
• Ensure Successful Project Delivery: Utilize business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
Required technical and professional expertise
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- SAP FICO certification is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules:
- FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA).
- CO: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders (IO) and Product Costing (CO-PC) including Material Ledger.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of tax configuration, bank integrations, and electronic payments.
- Understanding of ABAP debugging, SAP BW, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.).
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP FICO across implementation, support, or consulting roles.
- Strong business process knowledge and business process blue printing experience
- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP FICO project implementations (full project lifecycle).
