Prospect, ILFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday 7am-7pm with rotating  Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pmRequired Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needsWhat you will do:Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols including documenting in Epic telephone encountersUtilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocolsObtain prior authorization for proceduresReview provider templatesProvide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice ManagerWhat you will need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.Certification: N/AExperience: 1 – 2 years in an administrative/customer service position, EPIC knowledge and experience preferred.
