PowerBI Developer (Offshore)

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI reporting, data modeling, DAX, SQL optimization, security implementation, and BI governance. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver impactful dashboards, optimize performance, and drive data-driven decision-making.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Publish, share, and manage Power BI workspaces, apps, and reports.
• Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Manage Power BI users, roles, permissions, and governance processes.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX measures, calculations, and KPIs.
• Build and maintain scalable multi-dimensional data models and semantic layers.
• Schedule, automate, and distribute reports and data extracts.
• Monitor and improve dashboard performance, scalability, and usability.
• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for enhanced reporting performance.
• Plan and coordinate BI releases, deployments, and production support activities.
• Integrate Power BI with enterprise applications through APIs.
• Leverage AI and automation capabilities to enhance reporting and business processes.
• Design and implement workflows and automation solutions using PowerApps and Power Platform.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative analytics solutions.

Required Skills
• Strong experience in Power BI Dashboard and Report Development.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with Power BI Service, Workspace Management, and Security.
• Hands-on experience with RLS, User & Role Management.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience in report scheduling, subscriptions, and data refresh management.
• Knowledge of API integrations and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Understanding of AI-driven automation and analytics solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and release-planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience leading BI initiatives and managing enterprise reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services and Microsoft Fabric.
• Power BI or Microsoft Data Analytics certifications preferred.
