Responsible for the overall planning, administration, coordination, and general management of Capital Market Operations within Wholesale Banking through effective origination, syndication, servicing, administration, clearing and funding support within Truist Securities Inc and Truist Bank. This position requires deep subject matter expertise in Capital Markets operating platforms across Investment Banking & Capital Markets, the Broker Dealer (TSI), the Swap Dealer (TFC), Foreign Xchange, Syndicated Loans, and Client Onboarding activities among other capital markets segments. Deliver high quality service for all internal and external clients while managing the operational delivery framework, associated risks, and strategic direction within the supported portfolios for a large, complex banking organization. Responsible for providing delivery across the IBCM line of business (LOB) and client support through streamlined processes, integrated systems, and cost-effective services to enable superior revenue growth. This role is the primary operational business contact across IBCM and the bank for operational/trading issues as related to vendors, regulators, and areas impacted within Truist. This role and the success of the team is driven through a highly functioning relationship with our Technology Partners to deliver automation, expense reduction, lesson dependencies on manual processes and resolve issues and findings tied to processes supported and maintained with technology.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead initiatives and the service delivery team within Invest Banking & Capital Markets in strategic planning, management and exaction of processes, programs and governance to support investment related activities in support of IBCM
2. Partner with front office leaders to support their strategic vision and understanding of revenue growth and how Capital Market Service Delivery has to evolve to support their needs
3. Identify operational pain points and set a strategic vision to create efficiencies to reduce manual processes where increased automation can lead to revenue growth and/or expense reductions
4. Develop and maintain effective risk governance and operational risk management systems and processes for Capital Markets Service Delivery. Proactively advocates for self-identified issues to ensure the teams understand their processes to know when issues may arise needing corrective action
5. Overall responsible for third party vendors, suppliers and services in use across Capital Markets Service Delivery where all required sourcing, third party risk management and cyber/info security items are resolved in a time manner
6. Responsible for staying up to date on market trends and issues to identify when new processes need to be implemented, or existing processes need to be changed to support the evert changing landscape of regulatory changes
7. Responsible for talent related activities including recruitment, retention, career development, performance management, salary administration, promotions, transfers, succession planning, training, coaching and terminations within established policies and guidelines
8. Stays abreast of market issues and trends, maintains up-to-date knowledge on all Truist procedures and regulations.
9. Registered Principal performing supervisory tasks for the Broker Dealer and Securities Based Swap Dealer
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent education and related training
2. 15 years leading Operational team(s) in the financial services industry.
3. Broad product knowledge across the operational functions supporting CIB: Equity and Fixed Income clearing; derivatives and Collateral management; foreign Xchange payments/processing; Syndicated Loan processes; International Swaps and Derivatives Association master agreements
4. Complex stakeholder management experience across functions and areas of the business. Strong influencing skills to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Proven leadership in the implementation of complex projects, issue resolution, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. The ability to communicate with and influence others, conduct difficult negotiations and manage to stringent timelines for project deliverables.
6. Prior experience with global process management and workforce management to include either building offshore teams and/or managing global teams in direct or matrixed environment.
7. FINRA Licensed Series 7 – General Securities Representative with experience in corporate securities (stocks and bonds), municipal securities, options, direct participation programs, investment company products, and variable contracts
8. FINRA Licensed Series 24 – General Securities Principal to perform the critical functions of a principal, including rules and statutory provisions applicable to the supervisory management of a general securities broker-dealer.
Preferred Qualifications
1. 20+ years managing a large, enterprise scale operations team
2. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field
3. Experience working with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Framework
4. Participation/leadership within industry trade associations or relevant industry groups
5. FINRA Licensed Series 27 – Financial and Operations Principal (FINOP) to oversee the books and records, handle back-office operations, and ensure compliance with financial responsibility rules
