Your Focus

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

  • Responsible for supervising Team Members and the overall daily management of a designated shift in Caesars Operations. Provides oversight for all Slot operations on their shift.

  • Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.

  • May be responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.

  • Assists with overall strategies for customer service, revenue growth, and expense management in order to maximize profitability.

  • Assists with responsibility of the overall engagement of all team members on their shift by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances.

  • Assists with the overall integrity of daily Slot operations.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

DIRECTLY SUPERVISES:

  • Slot attendants on assigned shift.

 

Qualifications

  • Literate and fluent in English

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Computer literacy

  • Ability to handle complex and emotional issues

  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always leads by example 

  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures 

  • Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  •  Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands: 

  •  Must be able to work independently. 

  •  Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours). 

  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts. 

  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. 

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel. 

  • Responds to visual and aural cues. 

  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. 

  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights. 

  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. 

 

  • Responsible for leading the Slot operation.

  • Ensures accurate completion of daily reports.

  • Notifies appropriate Leadership of pertinent issues, as needed.

  • Maintains slot floor security by notifying department management of any suspicious activity.

  • Provides outstanding service when interacting with our guests.

  • Sets performance expectations and provides coaching, career development planning and operational support for all direct reports.

  • Ensures staff is scheduled properly and aligned with business volumes.

  • Develops a strong working relationship with all department managers to ensure unity and consistent direction.

  • Develops, implements, and reviews the slot processes.

  • Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls.

 

Required

  • Associates degree (or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school) or two (2) years equivalent training/experience will be accepted.

  • A minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role within hospitality, gaming or entertainment environment.

  • Strong operational background, preferably in a high volume, fast-paced environment. 

  • Gaming experience a plus; service facing experience required.
