Business Area HR Leader – Retirement Solutions, VP
The Business Area HR Leader serves as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, partnering to sharpen the workforce needed to deliver business strategy today and in the future.  This role brings together business acumen, organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, leadership coaching, data-driven decision making, and change leadership to improve organizational performance. 
The HRBL helps leaders solve complex business challenges through people, organization, and capability solutions.  They challenge thinking, identify root causes, leverage AI and workforce insights, and build practical solutions that improve business outcomes, employee experience, and organizational health.
This leader partners across HR Centers of Excellence and Workforce Advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions while enabling leaders to own and drive their people agenda. 


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior executives, helping shape workforce strategies that enable business growth, transformation, and execution
  • Diagnose organizational challenges by identifying the problem and designing practical, scalable solutions that improve organizational effectiveness
  • Partner with leaders to design organizations, clarify accountabilities, strengthen operating models and improve team performance
  • Coach leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, accountability, organizational health, change leadership, and employee engagement
  • Use workforce analytics, AI-enabled insights, external market trends, and business data to influence decisions around talent, capability, productivity, succession, and organizational investments.
  • Translate business priorities into integrated workforce plans, including organization design, critical capabilities, and talent movement
  • Influence business leaders through thoughtful challenge, strategic consultation and data driven recommendations
  • Partners across HR to ensure leaders receive seamless, end-to-end workforce solutions while continually simplifying processes and improving the employee experience.
  • Ensure people decisions appropriately balance business outcomes, employee experience, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging technology and AI to simplify work and improve organizational effectiveness.

Base Pay Range: $176,000/yr - $236,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
